One breakdown can cost more than years of coverage
These are the repair bills RV owners actually face. It's why the smart time to protect your rig is while everything's running right — before anything breaks.
RV repair labor alone averages $150–$170 an hour (up to $189 at a dealer). A service contract covers the cost of covered repairs — it isn't insurance, and it has to be in place before a breakdown.

Three steps. Sixty seconds to a price.
1. Tell us about your RV
Year, type, and a few details. Motorized RVs 2004 and up; towables 2010 and up.
2. Get your honest price
The same policy the dealer quotes — up to 50% less. No pressure, no obligation.
3. Protected before the road
Lock it in before a breakdown. Transferable if you sell, cancelable if you change your mind.
The same protection, without the dealer’s number
Dealerships bundle the warranty into your financing and mark it up thousands — same paper, bigger number. We hand you the same protection and let you keep the difference. That’s money back toward the trips, not the transaction.
Illustrative example — your price depends on your rig. We’ll quote it honestly in 60 seconds.
An RV is an investment. Coverage keeps it one.
A single big repair can cost more than years of coverage. Locking it in while everything runs right protects your savings, keeps your rig road-ready, and makes it easier to sell later — the contract transfers with it.
- Protects against the costly failures, not the cheap ones you’d shrug off
- Same A-rated underwriter the dealer uses
- Transferable if you sell · cancelable if you change your mind
- Price-match guarantee · BBB A+ accredited
The questions RV owners actually ask
Is this the same thing the dealer offered?
The same policy — same A-rated underwriter, same coverage, same claims process. You just skip the dealer markup and keep thousands.
Can I use my own mechanic?
Yes — any licensed repair shop in the USA. Can’t get to a shop? A licensed mobile mechanic can come to you.
What does it actually cover?
The failures that end trips and drain savings: engine, transmission, generator, slide-outs, A/C, appliances and more. It protects the investment you already made.
What if I’m on the road when something goes wrong?
Call the Dedicated RV Support Line and talk to someone who knows RVs — not a call center reading a script. They’ll help you figure out the next step.
Is it transferable if I sell my RV?
Yes — the contract transfers to the next owner, which can make your RV easier to sell. And it’s cancelable if you change your mind.
When does coverage have to start?
Before a breakdown. A service contract protects against future failures — it can’t cover a problem that already happened, so the time to lock it in is while everything’s running right.
Which RVs qualify?
Motorized RVs model year 2004 and up; towables (travel trailers, 5th wheels, popups) model year 2010 and up. We ask a few quick details to give you an honest price — towable owners are never asked engine or mileage questions.
Is this insurance?
No. These are vehicle service contracts, not insurance — they cover the cost of covered mechanical repairs. We keep the fine print in plain English (see the footer).
Is an RV extended warranty worth it?
It comes down to the math. A single major repair — a $1,900–$12,000 transmission, or an engine that starts around $10,000 and can top $30,000 on a diesel Class A — can cost more than years of coverage. Owners who protect the RV while everything is running right trade one predictable payment for that risk. It only works if coverage is in place before the breakdown.
What does a typical RV repair cost?
Real numbers from RV owners: a slide-out room runs $500–$1,700 (the part can be a $75 gear, but reaching it takes 10+ hours of labor); a refrigerator or roof A/C is $600–$3,500 each; a generator repair can exceed $2,500; a Class A suspension overhaul is $1,500–$15,000. RV repair labor alone averages $150–$170 an hour. That is what a service contract is protecting you from.
How is a towable RV warranty different from a motorhome warranty?
Towables (travel trailers, 5th wheels, bumper pulls, popups) have no engine or drivetrain, so we never ask towable owners for engine or mileage details, and the price reflects the systems a towable actually has — slide-outs, appliances, A/C, electrical. Motorized RVs (Class A/B/C) add engine and transmission coverage, which is where the biggest repair bills live.
